It happened. I found myself raising children alone. My challenge was how to raise well rounded children while at the same time not lose who God had called me to be.

I overlooked and undervalue the awesome gifts and talents God had given me.  I buried them and didn’t maximize them. This is the very mindset which kept me from activating my gifts, nurturing my talents, and ultimately leaving my gifts in a state of stagnation.  

Then one day something happened. I had an awakening. I began to pivot to the power within me and arise. I knew in my spirit I was purposed to succeed.

The Pivot was real……

As single mom, I allowed life to get in the way of me activating, executing or accelerating the gifts and talents I had inside.

I buried them under all of life’s demands. I was there. Even though I knew I had a talent for writing and wrote, for many years I fell short of realizing those foundational gifts and talents could lead to me discovering more of who God had called me to be and who he had called me to serve.

Now I know the power within.
